GenDiB has been developed as an open-access database of geo-referenced datasets on intraspecific genetic diversity in wild-living eukaryotic species in Switzerland. Accordingly, access to the published data is open and free of charge. Please check the respective CC license of the individual datasets for the terms and conditions of reuse.

For information describing content items in the repository:

• All data are provided “as-is”. GenDiB and WSL disclaim all warranties, expressed or implied. GenDiB and WSL assume no liability for the completeness, usability, accuracy and availability of the data and excludes liability for any damage resulting from the use of the data.
• The validity, authenticity, quality of the data, the non-disclosure of sensitive data according to the lists published by InfoSpecies and respecting any applicable copyright of the data are the sole responsibility of the individual data providers. 
• Information on species occurrences (geo-references) will be validated by the respective InfoSpecies Data Centre and integrated into the Swiss National Biodiversity Data Collection (InfoSpecies) through a standard procedure and made available on the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF.org).
• The metadata may be re-used in any medium for any purposes by anyone without prior permission under a CC0 public domain license.
